Good News Club is a vital outreach ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship. First Baptist Church sponsors the Good News Club at Cathlene Thomas Elementary, where our trained, screened, and equipped volunteers deliver the timeless truths of the Bible in exciting, engaging ways. Children learn the Gospel, and many come to know Jesus as their Savior.
We are looking for new volunteers for the 2023-2024 school year. There are a variety of roles in which you serve. Whether you want to lead a game, a small group, teach a Bible memory verse, or just help with crowd control, your service would be greatly appreciated.
We are also looking for a new director for this ministry. Will Perry, our current director, and the Youth & Children’s Committee have reached a mutual agreement that he will continue to serve in this role until another director can be found.
